English
主播A:Good afternoon. Welcome back to Echo Snippet. 主播B:We're three weeks into term now. Today we want to talk about something almost everyone runs into. We call it the two-week wall. 主播A:Look, those first few days, everything was new. New books, a new seat, a new timetable — you were buzzing. 主播B:Two or three weeks in, the shine wears off. The work, though, is very real. And your motivation just drops. 主播A:That's when people start to doubt themselves. Honestly — did I pick the wrong thing? Am I just not suited to this? 主播B:Here's the thing — this dip is almost predictable. It's not about you. 主播A:Newness always fades — that's just how the brain works. It doesn't mean you're lazy. 主播B:So the real question isn't "why do I feel flat". It's "what do I actually do next". 主播A:Move one: shrink today's task until you can genuinely finish it. 主播B:Not "revise maths" — just "do the first five questions". 主播A:And the moment you finish, you get something that really counts: today, I didn't lose. 主播B:Move two: tell one person how you actually feel. Something like — "I'm finding this a slog right now." 主播A:Saying it out loud doesn't make you weaker. It just means you're not carrying it on your own. 合:The wall won't vanish by itself. But it's lower than you think. See you next time. 读音提示:predictable /prɪˈdɪktəbl/ 可预测的 · doubt /daʊt/ 怀疑 · suited /ˈsuːtɪd/ 适合的 · shrink /ʃrɪŋk/ 缩小 · the shine wears off /ðə ʃaɪn weəz ˈɒf/ 新鲜劲儿过去了 · a slog /ə slɒɡ/ 苦差事、费劲的事 · genuinely /ˈdʒenjuɪnli/ 真的、确实 | |
