主播A：For most people, the answer is no. A whole lesson, and not a single question.

主播B：That's not odd, honestly. What stops us usually isn't "I don't know how to ask".

主播A：It's "I'm scared of looking stupid". Look, most of us are.

主播B：But look at it from the teacher's side. What he's really after is finding out what didn't land.

主播A：Say nothing, and he just assumes everyone got it — then he carries that into the next lesson.

主播B：To be fair, reason two is more practical. Asking is the cheapest way to learn. A question you say out loud sticks with you far longer.

主播A：Because when you ask, your head is properly open. You're waiting for an answer, not skimming a line.

主播B：So what if you're completely lost — how do you ask then?

主播A：There's a pattern that works a treat here. "I followed you until X, and then I lost the thread."

主播B：For example: "I followed you until step two, and then I lost the thread."

主播A：It doesn't make you look like you weren't listening. And it hands the teacher a clear place to start.
