主播A：不过话说回来，真正扛事的规则只有一条：睡前把中间那块清空，五分钟，就这么多。

主播B：第二个思路：桌面摆不下了，就往墙上走，别往外摊。

主播A：墙上挂一个网格袋，装耳机和充电线；再钉个钩子挂书包。

主播A：Here's the thing — why does a desk get messy in the first place?

主播B：Nine times out of ten, it's not that you've got too much stuff. It's the things you haven't decided about yet.

主播A：A sheet handed back in class. A book a classmate gives back. You dump them there "for now".

主播B：So the fix isn't "tidy up". Truth be told, it's giving every undecided thing a home.

主播A：So you split the desk into three zones.

主播B：Zone one, right under your hand. Nothing but what you need today.

主播A：Zone two, straight in the middle. A tray for all the "later" stuff.

主播B：Zone three, down in the drawer. Anything you won't touch again this week.

主播A：Mind you, one rule does the heavy lifting. Clear Zone two before bed — five minutes, that's it.

主播B：Second idea. When the desk runs out of room, build upwards, not outwards.

主播A：Hang a mesh bag on the wall for your earphones and cables. Stick a hook up for your bag.
